The Use of Natural Disaster Picture as a Medium of Learning to Write Report Text

Writing is one of the language skills that considered difficult for most Indonesian EFL students. Teachers are challenged to provide an interesting medium learning increase students' writing and motivation. Natural disaster pictures can be utilized as alternative write report text. Therefore, this study aims find out ability in texts using natural picture describe perceptions students a texts. The respondents were 22 tenth grade at SMA N 1 Binangun academic year 2021/2022. A descriptive quantitative was present study. To collect data needed, researchers used tests questionnaires. Furthermore, test on achievement text, meanwhile, questionnaire results revealed total score 1308 mean 60. It means tenth-grade categorized "Enough" per scoring rubric conversion scale.
